VIDEO API GUIDE
Create, monitor, and download AI video tasks
Video generation is asynchronous and requires a complete task lifecycle rather than one long request.
Updated 2026-09-10
TokenAAS video generation uses POST /v1/videos/generations to create a task, a task endpoint to poll status, and an authenticated content endpoint to download the completed video.
1. Create the task
Send an available public video model ID, prompt, duration, and supported resolution. Save the returned task ID.
2. Poll with limits
Poll at a reasonable interval until the task succeeds or fails. Set a maximum wait time and stop polling terminal states.
3. Download with authentication
Use the returned content route and include the TokenAAS API key. A browser address bar cannot attach the required Authorization header.
4. Verify billing
Compare generated duration and resolution with the configured per-second tier, and confirm failed tasks follow the configured refund policy.
Frequently asked questions
Why does opening the video URL in a browser return API_KEY_REQUIRED?
The content endpoint requires an Authorization header. Download it through your backend, SDK, or curl command with the TokenAAS API key.
Why can video generation return no eligible account?
No account currently satisfies the required group, public model mapping, video endpoint capability, enabled state, and available capacity.
